Cupcakes Inside Easter Eggs

Cupcake Project never ceases to amaze me. I've heard of baking cakes inside eggs before, but then the Cupcake Project blog goes and dyes the eggs for Easter too. How cute are they!?

Red velvet Mardi Gras cupcake from Disneyland

This cream cheese frosting filled red velvet Mardi Gras cupcake at Disneyland was snapped by Amanda Ficili of Disney Go To Girl, and posted at Disney Food Blog. The red velvet cupcake is topped with green and purple whipped cream cheese frosting, and the whole thing is accented by “a white chocolate ornament dusted with gold glitter, a hand painted chocolate curl, and a Venetian cookie mask!” says Amanda!

Chocolate Lover's Cupcake



Everything about this cupcake is chocolate. How Sweet It Is was definitely thinking about us chocolate lovers when she made these super chocolatey cupcakes on Valentine's Day. They're dark chocolate cupcakes with--not regular chocolate frosting--but piles of chocolate cream cheese frosting, and they're topped with chocolate sprinkles and a piece of chocolate from a chocolate bar.
